We received our first letter from Elder Goodale yesterday. The missionaries are instructed to write a brief letter home the first night they are in the MTC, and it was great to hear from Justin yesterday!!! Of course, I'm in Tokyo at the moment, but Michelle let me know the contents.
He says he's doing great; he loves his companion, Elder Phillips from Rigby, Idaho. There are four elders going to the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission, and they are all rooming together. His district has ten missionaries in it, eight elders and two sisters, and they all get along great. It's going to be a great experience!!!
Elder Goodale's P-day is on Monday, so we look forward to getting a letter from him shortly after this coming Monday!
